Registration for the 2017-2018 school year will begin on February 1, 2017. See below for details.

Welcome to South Windsor Public Schools! All children who reside legally in South Windsor and are between the ages of 5 and 18 are eligible to attend South Windsor Public Schools. To begin the registration process, follow the steps below. If you have any questions, please contact the Registrar's Office at (860) 291-1244 or email [email protected].

WHO

  • All students entering South Windsor Public Schools for the first time
  • Incoming Kindergarten students (must be a South Windsor resident, age 5 by 1/1/18)
  • Students re-enrolling (returning from a magnet school, out of state, or an extended absence of 20 days or more)
  • South Windsor students attending magnet, technical or Vo-Ag schools
  • Students receiving home instruction
  • Students accepted into the Pre-School Outreach (POP) program (pre-approval from Special Services is required)

HOW

      1. Complete the Pre-Enrollment Student Information Form

      2. Schedule a Registration Appointment with registrar at central registration office
        (see above for contact information and appointment days and times)

      3. Collect Age, ID and Proof of Residency documents
        (view a list of required documents here)

      4. Attend registration appointment – bring all documents

      5. Complete online New Student Registration record through Parent Portal
        (access Parent Portal here using the secure username and password
        provided at registration appointment)
