Dear PV Families,
We had another wonderful week at PV, highlighted by a special school assembly that brought our community together in celebration of student learning and talent.

A big thank you to our Blue and Gold team for leading such an engaging event! Mr. Worth’s class did an outstanding job, and we are proud of Mrs. Federowicz’s class for their performance on the continents.

Our band students, under the direction of Mrs. Cohen and Ms. Dest, delivered a beautiful rendition of the national anthems. We also appreciate the energy and enthusiasm of Ms. Drake and Miss Dontigney, who helped make the experience especially memorable for our students.

In addition to these performances, we took time to celebrate many of our students for their positive contributions to our school community, including recipients of Positive Office Referrals, Students of the Month for demonstrating Kindness, Respect, Responsibility, and Safety, and our Panther Ticket winners. We are so proud of the way our students continue to represent PV with pride.

It's Poetry Month and we have our annual PV Poetry contest going on until April 30th. Please see the flyer below for more details.

A few important reminders:
Our Book Fair is coming up, and we are looking for parent volunteers! If you have not yet had a chance to get involved this year, this is a great opportunity. If you’ve volunteered before and would like to join us again, we would love your help. Whether it’s setting up, running the register, or helping with breakdown, your time makes a difference. Please reach out to Meredith meredith.l.roche@gmail.com or Katrina katrina.mattern@gmail.com for more information.

We are also continuing to seek volunteers for our PTO Executive Board. We currently have three open positions and welcome you to nominate yourself or another parent/guardian. Co-positions are also an option if you’d prefer to serve alongside someone else. If you are interested, please connect with our PTO Executive Board, pvpto@pvpto.org, reach out to the school, or contact me directly.

As we head into Spring Break, we wish all of our families a joyful and restful time. Whether you are traveling or enjoying a staycation, we hope you have the opportunity to relax and make meaningful memories with your children.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday, April 20th.

Blue & Gold Assembly

We had a great Blue & Gold Assembly. We all sang the school song together with Mr. Worth's class signing the song for us, a 5th grade flutist shared the Star Spangled Banner, a few fifth grade students taught us how to use a microphone, the newspaper club introduced the poetry contest, Mrs. Federowicz's class sang a song about the 7 continents, some band members played O Canada, and two teachers performed the masked singer. Please enjoy photos and videos from the assembly.
