Dear PV Families,

On behalf of our 140+ staff members, thank you for celebrating and appreciating us this week. We are incredibly grateful for the thoughtful notes, cards, gifts, and treats that made our staff feel so valued and supported.

A huge shout-out goes to Kayla Holland, the lead of our Staff Appreciation Committee, for all of her hard work coordinating this special week. Through her outreach and partnerships with local businesses, she was able to secure generous food donations and treats for staff throughout the week. From lattes and bagels on Monday morning, tacos on Tuesday, sweet treats and snacks on Wednesday, to salads and sandwiches later in the week, our staff felt truly appreciated. Special thanks to Burtons, Pastrami on Rye, and many other local businesses for their generosity and support.

I also want to thank our PTO President, Purva B., for her support throughout the week, along with the PTO for their donations and partnership in making this all possible. We are so fortunate to have such a caring and supportive school community.

We successfully completed the ELA SBAC this week and will continue next week with Math SBAC. Please help support your child by ensuring they get a good night’s rest, eat breakfast in the morning, and arrive at school on time by 8:55 AM. Our Grade 4 students will also be participating in Bike Week next week.

Our Spring Girls on the Run 5K takes place this Saturday! Please see the flyer below for additional details. We hope many of you can join us in cheering on our students, coaches, and running buddies as they celebrate all of their hard work and accomplishments.

Speaking of appreciation, this weekend is Mother’s Day. If you have the opportunity, please take time to intentionally celebrate the mothers and mother figures in your life. Click the link below for a heartfelt reminder of just how valuable and impactful mothers are.

To all the mothers in our PV community, Happy Mother’s Day! Wishing you a weekend filled with love, joy, and appreciation.

Have a wonderful weekend!
