💙💛 PV Family Newsletter 💛💙

Dear PV Families,
What a wonderful start to the school year! Thank you to our students, families, staff, and PTO for helping us begin the year with such positive energy and a strong sense of community. It has been wonderful seeing our students settle into routines, reconnect with friends, and begin another year of learning together!

🚨 Safety Drills
We successfully completed our first fire drill of the year! This first drill was announced in advance, and our students and staff did a wonderful job following procedures safely and calmly. Throughout the year, we will continue practicing various safety drills so everyone is familiar with our procedures and prepared in the event of an emergency.

💙💛 A HUGE Thank You to Our PTO!
A heartfelt thank you to our PTO Executive Board for the incredible work they did to help us open the school year!
They provided a welcome-back luncheon for 150+ PV staff members, returned to support Popsicles with the Principal and our Family Picnic, and were back again the next morning to welcome families and share the many wonderful PTO events planned for this year. We are so grateful for their time, energy, and commitment to PV!

Want to get involved? There are many ways—big and small—to participate throughout the year.

Thank you to our Room Parent Committee for getting us very close to having a Room Parent for every classroom! There is still time to join:
🎉 First PTO Meeting — Join Us In Person!
We are excited to hold our first PTO meeting IN PERSON at Revolutions! 1st Tuesdays
📍 Revolutions, 60 Bidwell Rd., South Windsor 🕠 5:30–6:30 PM
See attached Flyer

We anticipate the meeting taking about 30–40 minutes, leaving time to connect, reconnect, and get to know one another. We'll also have some fun raffles, including front-row Grade 5 graduation seats, VIP parking for a school event, and even a recess-free pass for a teacher!

Come learn what's happening at PV, meet other families and staff, and spend some time together as a community.
Can't make it? No worries! Meeting highlights will be emailed to all families afterward.
Thank you for a fantastic start, PV Family. Here's to a wonderful year of learning, connection, and belonging! 💙💛

Graciously,
Esther & Jenna
